Ars Review: Dawn of War II riles RTS genre with frantic combat

While the game already has its fair share of critics, many of which were fans of the more traditional original game in the franchise, Dawn of War II has proven to be one of Relic's finest titles to date. Beyond looking good and playing well, the game is an amalgamation of the best bits of the previous games that have defined the company's brand of RTS over the years. Relic's title cuts its own path and makes no apologies for it. And it need not make any apologies, for Dawn of War II is one of the most interesting and fast-paced RTS titles in recent memory and an early but nonetheless strong contender for RTS title of the year.
