CVG Interview: Dirt 2

A lot's expected from Colin McRae DiRT 2 and senior executive producer, Gavin Raeburn, is confident the final game will live up to the target renders the developer's dishing out at press days.

Codemasters has told CVG that Colin McRae: Dirt 2 is "pushing the boundaries of what is possible" on PS3 and 360, running on a much-improved version of the Ego engine that powered the first game and Grid.

"DiRT 2 is actually running on the third iteration of Codemasters' EGO Engine proprietary technology, whereas DiRT was the first generation. As a result, there are many improvements that have been made to DiRT 2 over DiRT," said the game's senior executive producer, Gavin Raeburn.

If they can pull of those target visuals (which i doubt they can) then this is going to be the most beautiful race game ever...

Hope they include the possibility to play more than one player, like the WRC-series. I´m not talking about split-screen but that we drive the same lap after turn.

That's what I call ripping us off... Why not include these packs on the disc? Codemasters seem to like MONEY!
