I never liked Mad catz controllers, they never felt as good as the first party ones or even the Logitech controllers. Additionally I wont be buying another Ps3 controller until rumble is out officially for the PS3.
But thats just me.

Me and my bro bought first party controllers, they were pretty expensive. But hey that's the risk you take in being an early adopter, eh. What's life without risk?

3rd party products like Mad catz controllers are good enough for me. Basically the way i see it is that even though it's not 1st party equipment, you should still take good care of them and they will function properly for long periods of time. It's a matter of care.

Mad Catz products haven't worked well for me, although their products are generally good sellers at my store. At least Sony is allowing 3rd party wireless controllers; when will MS come around? (At least let Red Octane do a wireless guitar for GH2!)
