Kombo Review: Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection is a Great Investment

When it's all said and done, this is an excellent value in gaming and something that goes a long way toward preserving many excellent titles from the 16-bit Golden Age. Even if you were a Mario/SNES fan back during the time these games were hitting shelves, you'll quite easily find several titles here to help you scratch any sort of retro itch that might creep up from time to time. Buying these titles one by one through Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, or the Virtual Console would run you $200 or more, if they were even all available. Fans of the Genesis really need to pick this game up, as well as anybody that missed out either due to being too young or having opposing loyalties back in the day. As far as compilations go, it rarely gets this good, and it never gets any better.
