I Cannot Review 'Street Fighter IV'

MTV:

"But I can tell you the following things about the game:

Those who followed my performance in "Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix" against rapper Soulja Boy know that I'm far from the world's best "Street Fighter" fighter."

I don't think you should base your Street Fighter skill level off a game against SouljaBoy,I'm just saying

Serjikal_Strike3527d ago

says it all...nobody at mtv should be reviewing games...period!

Heldrasil3527d ago

Yes, one would think that. But this comes from the same MTV (Music Television) that does not seem to have anything to do with Music anymore.

Stephen Totilo and Patrick Klepek are pretty well respected journalists...Some of this "every reviewer is bias" talk is getting waaaayyyyyy out of hand.

Maybe some of you should actually attempt reading the article to realize that he knows his review wouldnt be up to standards if it was reviewed by another journalist with SF background/talent.

mugoldeneagle is right. Steven Totilo is quite respective and a informative journalist. Just take a look around the Mtv multiplayer blog and some of his work. You'll get a much better grasp of how cool this guy is.

I'll be picking up my copy of SF4 tomorrow.

I mean, cmon! This guy is saying is not good enough to play videogames? Okay, then find another job. Im not an expert in my workplace but I try hard to catch up and improve myself. I dont want a reviewer to be an ace at videogames, I want an opinion from him. At least try!!!

How would my boss react if I said what he said:

``let the experts do it``

WTF?!

BigKev453527d ago

Then don't shoot. MTV stick to music videos.

Panthers3527d ago

LOL when was the last time MTV showed a music video? MTV has been a joke ever since the 90's

Gun_Senshi3527d ago

lol mtv don't show music, only crap

I dont see the point of such article . There is a reason proper magazines and journalists distribute themselves a field of expertise .
Like "steve would be the rpg guy " and "john the soccer addict" . One expert along with some fresh eye combo is good enough to do a review .

But obviously silly one man blogs , or pure amateur blogs and stuff with plenty staff like MTV or kotaku can't do or pull that off . Another reason why they sux even more and are even less credible than pro websites and magazines .
