"A 1Upper landed an early copy of the retail version of God of War II. As a source told us last week, the instruction manual has an advertisement for God of War for the Playstation Portable on back cover."
Is the PSP still alive? Wow.
It sold more than the Wii in Japan the week before last. Over 100,000 sold.
I have one, and if homebrew didn't exist I would say that it sucks. That's a big "if" though. With Dark_Alex's firmware, the PSP is probably the best $200 I've ever spent. Every PSP, Gameboy, PS1 game, and movie I want for free. When you're playing FFVII, Crash Bandicoot, Xenogears, MGS: PO, Loco Roco, Lumines, Ratchet & Clank, Virtua Tennis and Pokemon Yellow, watching Borat a month before its DVD release, and listening to your music collection on one handheld device you know you've got something special.
What a tired old comment that was. That's like making a similarly dumb statement like; Xbox 360 has nothing but FPS games, and nothing else.
If you actually took a good look at the sales numbers of the PSP, you'd be surprise. It's definately a live and selling steadily well.
I bought a PSP and was very disappointed with it, returned it and got my DS. DS is kicking the PSP ass everywhere.
I love my psp ... its way better then Ds..Im sorry im not 12 anymore mario isnt fun
The reason they didn't bring God of War II to the PS3 was because they didn't want to focus all of their resources on programming and technical issues rather than the gameplay... so why are they bringing this to the PSP? Think about it, do you think you can pull of the same insane combos on a PSP as the PS2? I think its physically impossible, but thats just me.
I think it's just a conversion of God of War 1 to the PSP...
God of War is sweet. now i can play it while im a t the Doc off. on break or doing some boring SH**t with my g/f i dont care how it looks if it plays even remotely as good as the ps2 ver. ill be happy
i was almost certain psp would never regrow its balls...
God of War is a perfect fit for the handheld since the camera system is automatic. (FPS is a big no-no) I wonder if it'll be a port of part 1, or something completely original. Supposedly, Ready at Dawn studios (of Daxter fame) is helming this title.
