Highly anticipated Street Fighter IV is currently being downloaded all over the world, illegally, by pirates.
The Xbox 360 version of the game was set to be released in North America on the 19th, and in Europe the following day. But somehow sneaky and nefarious pirates managed to apprehend a copy of the 6.4 GB game.
The PC release date has not even been set yet -- ironically, probably due to concerns that people will pirate the game instead of buying the console version. Pirating Xbox games requires hardware modification however, so piracy is more widespread on the PC platform, where it is relatively easy to illegally download and install games. Pirated PC games generally run smoother than legally purchased games because they've had their DRM compromised, so this also makes fighting PC piracy an uphill battle.
