Screen Play: Bug Spray

It's not uncommon for the games to come with a long list of known bugs that the developer promises they will address before release.

The situation is less than ideal for all parties - reviewer, developer and consumer - as the reviewer either has to accept it on good faith the bugs will be addressed, which may or may not happen, or the game gets slighted for problems that the consumer might never experience.

Screen Play typically has the luxury of reviewing finished games, but I experienced a show-stopping bug this week while reviewing a promotional (finished) copy of FEAR 2: Project Origin."
