Ubisoft's Avatar to get 3D treatment

Ubisoft has confirmed that its first attempt at incorporating 3D technology into its games will be Avatar, the sci-fi adventure based on the 20th Century Fox movie.

""We're using 3D technology for Avatar, the game that we are making with James Cameron based on his film that will release later this year, and we're very excited about it. 3D helps to immerse gamers and gives them the feeling that they are living the adventure of the game – and that is a great thing. It's definitely a technology that will impress even the most jaded gamer." (Avatar the Game, PS3, Xbox 360)
