Loot Ninja write: "While we weren't able to get any hands on time with Namco Bandai's Splatterhouse just yet, we did get to speak with two of the game's developers about remaking the classic brawler."
I'm definitely happy to hear that they won't be incorporating any multiplayer options to this game. A lot of games nowadays tend to add in unneeded multiplayer modes which tend to mess up the experience. You can't really do nothing multiplayer-esque for this game, honestly. Which kind of makes me question what God of War III is going to be doing. Splatterhouse looks awesome. I was a rabid fan of it for the Sega Genesis. Can't wait to see what the next-gen version does.
I just hope game turns out to be enjoyable, judging from this interview they have much to do right now in order to make this game worth the $60 price tag.
