Immersion Losses Narrow, Sales Rise

Force feedback company Immersion has posted higher revenues and lower net losses for its fiscal year and fourth quarter.

For the quarter ended December 31, the company posted revenues of $8.6 million compared to $6.9 million for the comparable quarter a year ago. Net loss for the quarter was $2 million, an improvement over the $3 million loss a year prior.

Annual revenues were $27.9 million in 2006, up from $24.3 million in 2005. Net loss was $10.4 million for the year compared to $13.1 million a year ago.

Immersion is getting paid. Sony needs rumble and they and all Sony fans know it. "i think sony wants an exclusive on new,real force feedback.sony wins,they win." what does that mean are they going to jack it into your brain "real force feedback" Has everyone been playing fake force feedback or something? There little moters with weights on them that spin to give you the rumble effect, so WFT is Sony going to do with that to make it "real force feedback"?
