comparison videos showing microscopic differences with people claiming one version definitely looks better than the other.

Cool Hwhip3569d ago

I hope people have enough sense to just accept the fact that Dead Rising is now Multi-platform,rather than talk down the game or talk down the devs or claim the game isn't worth playing etc.

Looking forward to this, hopefully the Ps3 version will have uncompressed audio,I want to hear the Zombies breath lol.

Remember, the 360/Media community says this all the time, and Im sure you've heard it.

Even when the ps3 has more quality titles as recent as 2008 and 2009, the stigma still sticks. As does the stigma of PS3 games not selling to make it worth it to developers. Now that its official from EA/Activision/Take2 that its not the case at all, its silly to still believe that. But there are those that do. It has been used as a negative strike of conversation. So when a 360 "multiplatform exclusive" goes to the PS3, you are definitely going to find the people saying "Wait wait, So the PS3 doesn't sell that well, yet its getting 360 "multiplatform exclusives(pc/360)". I think its immature and stupid to do so, It would be nice if the PS3 community would just let the games do the talking, but I dont think it would be that out of order to remind those people of what they said about the PS3, and how the reality is that the PS3 is getting a game, that Sony did NOT pay for exclusivity rights.

Just goes to show you how important true console only exclusives are, thats the only place you are going to get the true Killzone2/MGS4/LBP quality titltes that aren't concerned about how fast they can make another unreal engine game, but how to truly make the best product they can.

Beast_Master3569d ago

Enough with the fanboy stuff! Since when was Capcom ever loyal to a platform? Megaman, DMC, RE, Street fighter. What do you want to see from the game? I heard it may take place in a Casino. Online co-op? Will it steal some of the L4D audience?

I honestly was ready to read about how it was coming to the Xbox360 and PC, with no mention of PS3, followed by days of multiple news stories about rumors of a PS3 port, before it was finally confirmed that it was coming to the PS3 too.

Seems times are changing.

Danja3569d ago

can't wait loved the 1st game..

just fix the save feature....and those time constraint missions......

chaosatom3569d ago

Well, here it is now.

Mass Effect, You're NEXT :)

Uzesgelen_Goo3569d ago

save feature was really annoying other than that all set can't wait DR2!

ThanatosDMC3569d ago

The time contraint were a pain especially for those that you have to wait to activate or finish. I left my 360 on, ate, showered and what have you just to see the helicopter leave me.

But it made the game unique from other games... so it's forgiveable... i just hope they fix it, if we only want to slaughter zombies.

Machete ftw!

prowiew3568d ago

This should be fun!. But no Frank!? Damn it

Good news, it would be awesome news if they also fixed the saved system issue with the first game.

Johnny Rotten3569d ago (Edited 3569d ago )

the save system, the load times, and the timer killed it for me in the first one. None the less it's a game people were waiting for!

DrWan3569d ago

I am no longer interested in non-PS3 exclusives, it feels like it's wasting CPU power that's not used. It's just not optimized for X360 or the PS3..They should make each versions separately from ground up, not to make it look identical, that's bullshi

make it the best it could have been....

Fishy Fingers3569d ago (Edited 3569d ago )

"They should make each versions separately from ground up"

Financially totally unviable and also development would take a lot longer. Personally I play games that are enjoyable and fun, not the ones that simply hit 100% CPU load.

It would be nice to see what they're capable of but it just isn't going to happen that way. A multiplat game experience is far better than no game at all.

Vecta3569d ago

So you say you only really care about graphics?

cliffbo3569d ago

no, he's saying he wants better lighting, bigger levels, more on screen, better AI, uncompressed textures and sound, bigger bosses, hundreds of enemies: all on ONE disk.

Vecta3569d ago

Ok, well tell me when God gets around to making that game then...

edgeofblade3569d ago

Cliffbo, no one does uncompressed textures. In fact, most high quality rendering these days is done by a mapping algorithm, not large picture files. And uncompressed sound is impossible on a digital media as digital quantization is compression by itself.

But I guess you only know what Sony PR spoon feeds you to make you think a Blu-ray disk is worth the cost.

no one seems to care if a former 360 exclusive game goes multiplat but if it was a ps3 game, i think it will going to be more chaotic than iraq..

Cool Hwhip3569d ago

I think it's because a lot of people want Sony to fail, therefore they feel like they're getting 'closer' to that goal every time a Ps3 exclusive is made multi-platform.

Sad,but that's what extreme fanboyism will do to you.

v1c1ous3569d ago

don't expect to be handed everything like last-gen.

see the problem with sony fanboys is that they EXPECT EVERYTHING to be handed to them, like they DESERVE it. and it's ALMOST justified because if you win 2 generations in a row, and you pick the "safe" choice for this gen, it's only annoying to find out you aren't getting the benefits you expected. but we live in the real world.

so when 360 loses an exclusive, you hear ho-hum from the 360 fanboys, while the sony fanboys wonder why there's no fanfare. when PS3 loses an exclusive, everyone gets riled up because it was EXPECTED for sony to be the only choice 99% of the time like last gen, so its a bigger deal to sony/360 fanboys and the media.

Vecta3569d ago

or umm maybe because the original Dead Rising only came out this gen...

BlackRaven853569d ago

Couldn't have said it better. Bubbles for you.

ActionBastard3569d ago

I was thinking the same thing. Bubbles! Let's see if anyone wants to address this hypocrisy.

decapitator3569d ago

You make it sound as if there are a particular breed of fanboys that are better than others. All fanboys are loco bro. But I agree with most of what you said though.

edgeofblade3569d ago

Agreed. I'm actually surprised the first DR didn't make it to the PS3. It would have been a good benchmark of the two systems against each other (instead of thug commentators who can't be bothered with proof).

But I'm not going out of my way to call MS' foul for tying them up with money, because there is no evidence they did.

RUPITY3569d ago

Ps3 version for me,I want my graphics and audio in the best quality possible.

NMC20073569d ago

Yeah...... PC version or 360 version since the PS3 version is probably going to be a port of the 360 version, RE 5 will tell the tale.

silvacrest3569d ago

i wanna no what happens in the future to...

tristanmike3569d ago

I agree 100%. After downloading the RE5 demo on both systems for myself, and playing it on the same TV with the same settings and the same HDMI cable, it's clear that the 360 outperforms the PS3 version on almost every level. As I go back and rent/buy used 360 games that I own for my PS3 as well to compare, there hasn't been a single multiplatform game that looks better on the PS3 compared to the 360. Even Oblivion looks better on the 360 after the update. The biggest difference is that the 360 displays *most* games in 1080 and I'm lucky to have 5 games on the PS3 that display in any type of 1080 (i or p).

I would imagine that no huge epiphany has been discovered in PS3 development to convince me that the "better" version will be on the PS3 so I'll be sticking with the 360 version where I can voice chat with friends no matter what game they're playing.

callahan093569d ago

I don't know what you're talking about. I played the RE5 demo on both platforms and didn't notice a single difference besides the controller I was using.

callahan093569d ago

If I'm wrong and there is some vastly noticeable difference between the two versions, please, elaborate.

callahan093569d ago

OK, I suppose I'll just chalk up the disagrees to fanboyism, then, because obviously you have no real argument or you'd come out and say it like a man.
