Shaz from GL: "Acting is a difficult craft to master, and what many don't consider is just how hard it can be to perform across different mediums of entertainment."
Interesting article, it doesn’t surprise me because some people are better all a-rounders than others. Regardless of fame or how good they are in their specialty.
This is why I feel like the live action stuff in Alan Wake 2 especially is pretty bad. It also looks really cheap and amateurish.

"I got something to say about western RPGs too. Do something to the grotesque character designs.
Even if I can marry or have sex with the character in-game, if the biitch looks like a freaking monster, I would have to kill her!"
Jeez, lol
Really interesting article. They think we only play FPS games and we think they only play RPGs where dudes look like girls.
This is a good comment
"Don't make it for foreign countries. 2. Don't try to kiss foreign gamers' asses. 3. Don't think/say it's ok as long as it sells well in foreign countries. It's a JRPG, so make it for Japan"-Japanese guy
Those games are called Jrpgs for a reason, they are mean for JAPANESE market. If you want play it, if not shut up!
I agree with them that art in fable 2 and Fallout 3 is awful, gross.

What I like about WRPGs :
- Character customization/developpement
- Choices
- Made for adults and often carries strong philosophical or ethic messages
- Unique items
- Real-time combat
What I like about JRPGs :
- Memorable storyline
- Strategic combat
- Minigames
What I don't like about WRPGs :
- No memorable stories. It's a shame, because there would be ways of making good storyline with these games.
What I don't like about JRPGs :
- Too kiddy and unrealistic. Characters always move and speak as if they were trying to look ''cool''.
- Atrocious character design (with a few exceptions)
- No customization at all. Everyone plays the exact same thing.
- There's always a f****** little sidekick character thingy that's meant to look cute (like the pig in Valkyria Chronicles) but ends up being really annoying.
