Gamezine's Matt Gardner:
'Skate 2, the long-awaited follow-up to the original blockbuster title for the Xbox 360, is back. With ramped-up graphics, a 60 frames-per-second framerate, extended gameplay and more freedom, it promises to impress fans of the original.
Pulling tricks in Skate 2 is less of a process and more a genuine skill. For all its faults, it is a great game to play, although real-life skaters will be into it much more. If you don't click with it straight away, promise me you won't put it down. Give it time and you'll realise this is a franchise that has legs. Hopefully they won't overdo it with the inevitable Skate 3, Activision-style.'
