PSP is kicking ass in Japan,I can't believe the 360 is only barely outselling the Ps2

A year ago, it would have been a miracle to say that, even with PS2 sales decling, 360 sales were in the 2000's now it's in the 6-7 range.

But wow I though Ninja Blade would do better, under 10 K sold in it's first week, mind you it data is only for a few days...but still...360 have 800 000 K + system in japan, and under 10 k represents it sold to roughly 1.25% of it's owners.

"19. [360] Ninja Blade - 9,700 / NEW "

Is Ninja Blade a permanent/temporary exclusive?

PirateThom3236d ago (Edited 3236d ago )

Permanent, as far as I'm aware.

In other news, From Software's PS3 exclusive, Demon's Souls, came out in Japan today, I believe.

Marceles3236d ago

permanent, it's published by MS

WOW at Ninja Blade, wasn't this game in development for 3 years?

Helghast Slayer3235d ago

Wow ninja blade 9,700? lol. Is this a flop or what?

Algullaf3235d ago

Damn thats epic, xbot must be happy with these numbers.

sinny3235d ago

the demo was bad, if the japanese played that then i can see why the game didn't sell well

jams_shop3235d ago

PSP is doing very well, three games on the top five. Two NEW releases and a reprint that's pretty good

And the Japanese people still don't buy the console , MS needs a pricecut $89,- is a good price maybe the 360 will sell above the 10.000 ..lol

Kushan3235d ago

I think Japan is (ironically) proof that price isn't the only thing keeping the 360 in front around the rest of the world - it's cheaper in Japan than anywhere else and the Japanese still aren't interested. I don't think a price cut is really going to change that, they just need to keep on bringing out more titles the Japanese will appreciate and hope they come around.
Can't see it happening this generation, but maybe the next generation. the 1:2 sales ratio of 360:PS3 is still an order of magnitude better than the last generation.
