Further Job Cuts Hit Mythic

Edge writes: "Warhammer Online developer Mythic will see further staff cuts as its publishing partner EA looks to reduce its global workforce by 1,100.

It is unknown how many workers have been let go, though some reports suggest the cut is as high as 130. Following recent news that Mythic had cut up to 21 members of staff – a figure that was speculated to be far higher – the Jacobs stated that "the whole 'OMG we're losing half? [of] the developer (or even of the total team)' thing is total nonsense.'" (Industry, PC, Warhammer online, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning)
