Frogger Hops Across Xbox Live Arcade

Nestled within the various Marketplace menus on the PartnerNet, IGN discovered a old-school quarter-devouring distraction. It was Frogger, the staple of greasy pizza shops and sweaty sports arenas everywhere. Its concept is simple. Taking control of a pixilated frog, he's guided across a heavily trafficked road and a river to safety in the bushes on the other side. The adventure isn't without obstacles. Sports cars and semi trucks threaten to squish Frogger into quivering bits. Once across the road, the river can only be navigated across by hopping across a series of moving logs and turtles. Like many of its early arcade predecessors, timing is key for getting high scores, and despite it's simple appearance and design the game requires plenty of practice to be successful. (Frogger, Xbox 360)
