R18+ games rating delayed again – what do we pay politicians for?

iTWire writes: "Being the only developed nation without an adult rating for a range of ever increasingly sophisticated video games, Australian game fans are often frustrated, annoyed and forced to find other methods to obtain 'banned' titles. In relatively recent times however there has been a glimpse of 'the sensible' as the attorneys-general agreed to discuss the situation. But yet again the process has been stymied by South Australian Attorney-General Michael Atkinson.

A quick catch up for those that have not been following this situation: Australia currently has a separate classification systems for Film/Television content and that of interactive entertainment or video games."
