EA Developing Wii Rhythm Game

Random Nintendo has learned that Electronic Arts is developing an exclusive rhythm game for the Wii. While information is still scare, we do know that the game will be an entirely new property.

The currently untitled Wii project is under development at EA's Montreal studio. The game, which reportedly has a 1970s vibe, will have players control dancers by moving both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. While it may sound similar to Konami's Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Mix, one of the main differences appears to be the lack of a dance pad for EA's game.

Well at least its going to be developed at the Montreal studio so you can expect it to be above average (compare to other ea games).

Well it should be pretty fun. Rhythm game plus motion controls... your only as good as yourself. I'm sure there is going to be some tough levels ^^

Strange headline, as I thought the star of the show was Super RType. I almost bought RType Dimensions EX this last month and was just thinking, man I wish we had the SNES one somewhere on Switch. That's where I got my start w the series and I was beyond excited to see it drop this week!
