1UP: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2 Preview

Most of the time the action is so intense, that you don't get time to appreciate the complexity of the situation at hand, but small stories are being told nonetheless. Unlike so many other multiplayer RTS games -- where you simply throw your hoard of units against the enemy's -- DoW2's use of smaller squads and emphasis on cover (much like Company of Heroes before it) makes it so that maneuvering is the most important part of combat.

Sure, brute force can get the job done at times, but knowing where to take cover, when to flank, and (most importantly) when to run, makes the difference between victory and death in DoW2.

The story is too old to be commented.
