From the article: "F.E.A.R. 2 may very well turn out to be one of the great story experiences of 2009, but from this brief look, it hardly seems that it will bring anything new to either the FPS or horror game experiences. It relies on the familiar old shooter game loop: kill some guys, loot their bodies for better weapons and ammo, search for health packs and repeat. And let's hope that the horror experience is something more than downward-gazing children, blood smears and random visitations. This laundry list of complaints might be more forgivable elsewhere, but a big-budget title like this should do as much with its gameplay and story as with its graphics."
