Take a downhill snowboarding game, then swap the snowboard for a bowling ball, and that's essentially what Downhill bowling, by GameResort, is. Your job is to control a bowling ball as it charges down the slopes, all the while collecting coins and knocking down the ten sets of pins along the route. You'll need to tackle jumps, cannons, speed boost pads, sheep to slow you down and mushrooms which shrink you (of course!). The game is surprisingly fun. Graphics look pretty good, with a smooth framerate, good quality textures and 3D terrain, and some solid physics. Downhill Bowling is out now for $4.99. You can try out a lite version here.
