IGN: Fire Emblem: Then & Now

Next month the original Fire Emblem will be reborn on the Nintendo DS. Even though North America is no stranger to the strategy series (four games in the franchise have been released here), the game that started it all has never made it stateside. Released on the Japanese Famicom in 1990, Fire Emblem: Dragon of Darkness and Sword of Light introduced our hero Marth, who has become well known due to his appearance in Super Smash Bros. (Fire Emblem DS, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Nintendo DS)
