Life, the universe and everything... has been delayed

Looks like Maxis' evolution sim has sprouted roots and chained itself to the pits of developmental hell. But, despite the fact that its been in the works since 2000, Maxis isn't feeling the pressure to release Spore before it's ready. "with the latest set date being May 2007. We’ll see about that. September is our bet."

It has been a known fact on the PC version of this game it won't be until October, 2007 timeframe. Did these people even contact Maxis or EA to get the correct information or read all the current articles that are out right now. With the DICE coverage and the Popular Science piece being the latest news on Spore.

Also Games Radar makes me laugh "While Spore hasn't yet been confirmed for any other format, Will Wright has already expressed a profound interest in producing a 360 version and - you know what? - we don't think those money-hungry fiends at EA would stand in the way of a cross-platform release. In fact, they'd demand it. "

The only other format that has been most talked about going to next, believe it or not, is a Nintendo DS version.

Still curious though to find out when this article was written. With the may 2007 speak most likely about 4-6 months ago.

Sorry to be so pointed but been waiting for the PC release of Spore since I have known about it.
