IGN writes: "Family Glide Hockey isn't much more than a dull, awkwardly controlling air hockey game with a set of mini-games that are better than the core design. Five bucks isn't much to spend for any Wii game, but even at its cheap price it's tough to throw any love to this Japanese import.
Air hockey isn't any fun without precise controls. It's sort of the reason why the game has sprouted up in countless Nintendo DS and iPhone adaptations: touch screen means direct paddle control. The Wii has the potential to offer similar control with its pointer, and Wii Play has shown that it can work in Pong like mini-games."
