IGN: High Voltage Hot Rod Show Review

High Voltage Hot Rod Show isn't a bad game, but it is a victim of the smaller WiiWare design philosophy. Games on download services can be low extra content as long as the polish is there, but in the case of Hot Rod Show the initial game design is decent, but the overall control, camera, and balance isn't quite there. Each of the game's five cars drive identical in order to encourage balance, but in reality players will often pick their favorite out of the bunch right away, and have no reason to switch around.

Presentation - 6.0
Graphics - 6.5
Sound - 5.0
Gameplay - 6.5
Lasting Appeal - 5.0
Overall - (High Voltage Hot Rod Show, Wii) 6/10
