The technology behind Palm Pre processor - laptop performance in your pocket

To continue on from the previous post on Technology behind the Palm Pre camera, Palm OS blog would like to talk about Palm Pre processor and what it is capable and made of. It has been confirmed by various sources that Palm Pre is using Texas Instrument's latest OMAP3440 chip giving it 3 times better performance over the conventional ARM11 processors supposedly used in the iPhone.
