BBFC Clears MadWorld with "No Problems"

Edge Online Write: Capcom's upcoming MadWorld has been granted an 18 certificate by the British Board of Film Classification, ending concerns that it would struggle to be granted full certification.

"From our testing of the product, there was clearly no reason for us to intervene at the adult level," a spokesperson for the BBFC told Edge.

Some UK tabloid newspapers have already given the game's content their own assessment, with one explaining it has – already – horrified parents due to being "the most violent videogame ever." As well as question whether that particular tabloid had access to the game, the BBFC spokesperson clarified the issue surrounding MadWorld's controversial content; "We clearly had no problems with MadWorld. If we had, we wouldn't have classified it; it's as simple as that." (Industry, MadWorld, Wii)
