Square-Go: King's Bounty: The Legend Review

Square-Go: King's Bounty: The Legend is delightfully quirky but might be spreading itself a bit thin. The RPG elements attempt to enrich the experience but end up being too light for the hardcore, yet the self deferential humour and complex combat system can be a little much for the casual. Overall it's a fun romp for newcomers to the 4x genre (eXpand, eXplore, eXploit and eXterminate) but fans of Heroes of Might and Magic and the original King's Bounty should add one to the score. (Kings Bounty: The Legend, PC) 7/10
