Toy Firm Blames Nintendo for Profits Shortfall

Toy manufacturer Tomy, best known for Thomas the Tank Engine and Teletubbies play-things, says the popularity of Wii is to blame for a profits shortfall.

The firm has cut its annual net profit forecast by two-thirds, saying demand for Wii has weakened the toy market. The firm says demand for boys toys has been hit hardest, s lads make for Nintendo DS and Wii.

any of the current consoles could blame profits/shirtfall on a system they are in competition with, BUT THEY ARE IN THE SAME CONSOLE RACE...

this is a damn toy train
well in a way it kind of go's to prove something that i have said earlier in a way, nintendo is for kids, if a company that makes toy trains blames their loss on nintendo

I bought a Wii and I don't feel the need to buy a Thomas the tank engine.

So that little attempted insult didn't really work.

It just proves that Wii is for everyone, except for those unstable teens who feel the need to proves themselves with graphics and 'whose HD is better?' competitions.
