CES 2009: Racing SimCraft's $60,000 Simulator

T. Christopher Ciesielka, president of SimCraft, readily admits that he does not expect to see mass-market adoption of the APEX SC830, which costs between $40,000 and $60,000. SimCraft, which is debuting as a company at this year's CES, intends their top-of-the-line product for professional customers, including law enforcement trainers, race car drivers, and the Department of Defense. Why, then, had SimCraft elected to specifically appear as one of CES' designated "Gaming Showcase" exhibitors?
