Gaming "now considered family time"

According to the research, people spent an average of 6.6 hours a week playing games on a PC or console, reports the Financial Times.

Jolyon Barker, Deloitte's head of technology, media and telecoms, said that while gaming had traditionally been "frowned upon" by parents, "it is now considered 'family time' by many people aged between 26 and 42".
