The Laser writes: Shooters in the classic style of Thunder Force and Darius don't come along often these days, which makes their comeback with online consoles a great phenomenon for fans of this style. The emergence of Soldner X: Himmelssturmer on Playstation Network is a welcome surprise. It's solid level design and intuitve power-up system make it an impressive addition to the genre. Featuring high-def graphics and classic gameplay mechanics, this is an addictive title that delivers intense action, challenging tactical battles plus an impressive soundtrack, beautifully rendered HD backgrounds and visuals that makes for a highly polished title that delivers a solid shooting experience that fans of the genre will love.
Each week Sony brings PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable owners new content, add-ons, games and more. PlayStation LifeStyle catalogs the PlayStation Store updates for the major regions across the globe. Check back every Tuesday and Wednesday to keep up to date with each week's PlayStation Store Update.
I definitely prefer these earlier updates. Why not make it a point to do this every week?
I think I might finally have to get Rainbow Moon, since the bundle is so inexpensive now.
GamerNode's Dan Crabtree writes:
Sometimes, designers and marketing teams get awfully cute when naming their games. They say to each other, "Making this look and sound weird will set us apart, in a good way!" Wrong. The gimmicks are gutted and the bluffs have been called.
GamerNode has shackled together the three worst kinds of game-naming conventions and exposed the perpetrators for their crimes against diction, syntax, and multi-lingual decency. As a bonus, GN has awarded the most egregious offenders with entrance to the "I don't even..." Hall of Fame, a liminal success at best.

"The sequel to the PSN Exclusive Soldner X: Himmelsstrumer: Soldner-X 2: Final Prototype has gotten quite a beefy update and overhaul in comparison to the last installment of this PSN exclusive series. Here are some recently released screenshots, along with new information about the game, hope you enjoy."
"PSN exclusive series"
What? The first released on PC a year before PSN.
Anyway looking forward to this sequel. The first was one of my favorite PSN titles with its classic arcade shooting action/challenge, crisp visuals, and amazing sound track.
Good job
