First Age of Conan server merge successful

When news of impending server merges in Age of Conan broke in December, it caused a bit of a stir -- particularly in the post's comments. This is great news for the community. With over 50 servers and similar sized games like Lord of the Rings Online having half as less this is a win win situation for the community. The population was spread too thin from to many servers. No technical issues today and both servers that were merged overall reported no issues and a boost in numbers. Looking forward to other servers getting the same treatment.

Age of Conan is alive and kicking - there are many people on a lot of servers.

so 2 servers merged and there was a boost in numbers on the resulting server? thats amazing.

Well considering there is the option to roll on a brand new fresh start server once all the merges are complete people were wondering what the population was like. 6/8 of the big guilds made it over and the server saw many new characters that were not previously associated with the two that merged.

A lot of things about AoC are amazing, especially the sarcastic posters :)

I Tried the beta it was not good enough for me to want to pay 2 play. If it ever becomes free2play/microtransactions I would give it another go.
