IGN: Best-selling PC Games During Christmas Week

Market research company NPD Group has released its list of best-selling PC games for the week of December 21 – 27, 2008. Ever since it debuted, Blizzard's World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, rose to the top of the sales charts; this past week was no different. Following behind in second place during the week of Christmas was The Sims 2 Double Deluxe. While this week remains very similar to the prior week, Activision's Call of Duty: World at War did drop and swap places with The Sims 2 Apartment Life.

1. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Expansion Pack
2. The Sims 2 Double Deluxe
3. Spore

I do wish L4D could nab the #1 spot. But big names like Will Wright and WoW are totally unbeatable for selling power in the PC space.

No C&C game. Thats sad. Command and Conquer is one of my favorite franchises and Red Alert 3 is good. I like Tiberium Wars A LOT more but they are both great games.
