Intel feels pain from dropping revenue, WiMAX investment

Although the US economy has, by some measures, been in a recession for over a year, many technology companies appear to have been immune to the worst of its effects for much of that time. The days where the high-tech sector defied gravity appear to be well and truly over, however, and the clearest indication yet of that has come from chipmaking giant Intel. This morning, the company announced that both revenue and its investments were plummeting.
