Most Anticipated Games of 2009: 30-21 writes: "And in the blink of an eye 2009 is upon us, and games like Gears of War 2, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Animal Crossing: Let's go to the City seem like a distant memory. Now, as is the way with the world, we turn to the future without having given the past the time it deserves. Fable 2 creator Peter Molyneux says nothing in 2009 excites him. Well that's not how we feel. And in an attempt to get all that excitement off of our chest, allow us to present our week-long Most Anticipated Games of 2009 feature, where we compile the 40 games that make us wet with excitement just at the thought of playing them. Here, in the second instalment, we run down from 30 to 21. Read on, and let the hype begin."

The fact that Killzone 2 is no longer been hate by the mida for that CG trailer because it surpass it make it my most anticipated title of 09

ps: it will always be hated by the media because is a PlayStation exclusive but that something its just going to have to deal with

Monkey5213423d ago

some of those titles I would have thought to be higher on that list. But that's my opinion. I am curious to see the top 20.

Alan Wake it'll be the best-looking game ever made so true.

MGOelite3423d ago

how do you work that out since we have only seen CGI and no actual gameplay since its Sh!t so they need to hide it for as long as possible,

killzone 2 ingame gameplay looks better than alan waits cinematics

So does this mean the PGR series is done and now Bizarre is now a multiplatform developer? I guess this is why I couldn't find any new information on whether or not there will be a PGR5. Oh well. I just hope they don't stray to far from the PGR engine with this title.

Bizarre were sold by Microsoft Games Studios in November 2007 to Activision. Microsoft do however still own the PGR IP so in theory there could be a PGR5 in future but it won't be made by the same people. Rumours have suggested that Turn 10 (Forza devs) could be working on the next Project Gotham game.

I thought the new Bizarre game was somehow related to Batman. It sounded kinda lame but maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks for your input. I'm not sure if I would want another company make a new PGR. PGR is in my top 3 of all time favorite racing series. I just don't think it would be the same in the hands of another developer regardless of how good their reputation.

I hope your wrong about the batman type game. That just sounds too bizarre (pun not intended). First Ralli Sport Challenge and now PGR. 2 of my favorite racers gone.
