The developers at DICE are hoping to attract Massive Multiplayer Online gamers when Battlefield Heroes is finally released later this year. Aleksander Grondal, a lead producer at DICE, stated that he hopes to catch the eye of MMO gamers because of Heroes' similarities in player progression and abilities, and social interaction capabilities that will be available to the community through the game's website.
