Not only have we seen some spectacular blockbusters like Metal Gear Solid 4, Grand Theft Auto IV, Fable 2 and Fallout 3 (all more than worthy of the heady praise and numerous accolades they've received) but there has also been a greater variety of games than ever before. Games were released to appeal to every taste, and every demographic; there were puzzle games made specifically for moms, fighting games aimed squarely at boys (with bonus Star Wars characters thrown in for good measure), cheerleading games for girls, fitness games for those of us that wanted to lose a few pounds, music games for families to play together, and even portable versions for kids to practice with on the school bus."
