Vitals: God of War Series (Part 1)

God of War truly is an amazing story, and with God of War III about to debut on the PlayStation 3, there are sure to be many new gamers jumping into this series. So for those of you who have yet to experience this great saga, or who just want to freshen up on your God of War history, let us bring you back to the beginning, back to the time before Kratos was known as the God of War.

That's true.. The Halo universe has a pretty deep story.. I'll give you that.. But I still don't think it tops this

I think God of War has a more epic/legendary/psychologically deep story to tell than Halo. Plus, from what I've heard, it tells it in the game, rather than in tie-in novels. ;) J/K, shadow580.

I hear ya man.. doing a three bit story covering the three major console versions.. Part 3 will be a full out preview of GOW3. I'd love to have the time to throw in Chains of Olympus as well, but there is only so much time.. Good call for sure though! =)

I feel sorry for the people that haven't experienced the epicness of god of war.There is nothing like god of war.You can't even compare it to halo or gears.Those two are good games but nothing is as deep and epic as god of war.My number 1 game.

god of war has such a great story of why kratos is driven and keeps on doing what he does. Plus why everything else fits, just great writers for god of war.
