someones getting tipsy ...
Alan Wake or is that 2010? TGSI
DRM has just turned me off PC gaming. My current PC is still capable of playing the latest stuff but just reading up on the DRM complaints I haven't purchased anything new lately such as Crisis Warhead and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. prequal. Two games I was looking forward to and now all I have is regret from purchasing my two MSI GF8800GT OC for SLI last FEB & MAR. I was already able to play most games with my GF7800GT fine. Personally, I don't see any reasons to purchase future videocards/GPUs if DRM persist in future PC games. I've already told my wife she won't be getting SIMS 3 for her PC due to DRM. I didn't even like Steam and the time lost decrypting files for HL2 & EP1.
To get a new computer ...
There's never a reason NOT to buy a Computer ;)
Cool reasons, especially the modding. That's what keeps me gaming on PC for sure. But what keeps me buying 360 games is the ease of use. Like I just bought Silent Hill Homecoming which is totally fubar on my PC, but works with no extra debugging on console. Until PC can do that as flawlessly, I don't see too many people switching.
