Apple App Store update for the week of December 29, 2008 - January 4, 2009

Gamertell offers its weekly update of the games on Apple's App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch.

A few of the titles on the "Games You Might Like" list include WaveWars, Glam Rock Trivia, Bugdom 2, Silent Hill: The Escape and Gone Fishin'.

From the article:

"The big game for this week is Silent Hill: The Escape. While I don't know much about the game, placing the world of Silent Hill into a first-person arcade shooter seems off to me. I mean, here you have a subject normally filled to the brim with a gripping storyline and tense atmosphere and somehow Konami thought it would be a good idea to make it a first-person shooter. I know there was that arcade version of Silent Hill, but is that basically what this is?" (Mobile)
