Passion. Integrity. Conviction. Outgoing Entertainment Software Association boss Doug Lowenstein recently told Next-Gen that he hopes his legacy reflects those three things.
Following Lowenstein's rather fiery speech at last week's D.I.C.E. Summit, he explained how he hopes to be remembered as he makes way for the new ESA leader. "I guess more than anything else, [I hope people think] I fought resolutely and with passion and conviction to preserve the constitutional creative freedom for this industry to create these great games and great entertainment experiences.
"If I contributed to that in some way-in some way if there's a developer ten years from now who's doing something incredibly brilliant-if I deserve any amount of credit for that, that'll be something I'll be very proud of."
