Mega Man 9 Afterthoughts From 1up

1up: "It still amazes us that after all of these years, Capcom made the daring choice to return Mega Man to 8-bit, Nintendo Entertainment System-style glory with Mega Man 9. We spoke with MM9 producer Hironobu Takeshita about the development of what's effectively the first NES game since 1994 (now available on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and WiiWare)."

The story is too old to be commented.

After playing the PSP Megaman's, these old Megaman's didn't seem like they were worth the money IMO. I like my games to be updated nicely.

They, oddly, were.

A lot of old games had the problem of being short, but very, very tough, offering some replayability.

I know what I'm talking about, I have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES.

On the Nes?
I have that game too xD
And honestly that was a well made game... for its time, always kept going back to it.

this game was exactly what a true old school megaman fan wanted. This game was a fan service people who want updated graphics are looking at the wrong attributes that make Megaman...Megaman.

Call me an amateur, but the difficulty put me off this game

I remember it being "hard" too but the more you play, easier it gets.
I remember beating the wily's stages without loosing lives and i was pretty much quick at the end boss( couldn't beat him).
So i haven't played in a month and when i try again i die constantly.

You just have to get into it.
