So it came as quite a shock a few weeks ago when I sat down to check out the upcoming PlayStation Network fighter Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic, an enhanced port of the formerly PC-only original. You see, this particular fighting game also features an all-marionette cast. Shudder.
Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic is, at its core, a fairly simple 2D fighting game. The fighter puppets can jump, punch, kick and grab, as well as pick up a variety of weapons, breakable objects and power-ups strewn through the environments. They can also strike cool poses – hey, these are marionettes after all – to build their Chi, which can be released in any of several special attacks."
