1UP: DarkSiders: Wrath of War Interview

1UP has heard developer Vigil Games mention that Darksiders: Wrath of War was born out of a desire to create a "badass version of The Legend of Zelda," which explains a lot of things, like a horse that not only looks like Epona's death metal-chic cousin but may also be used as a weapon, or the numerous dungeons that alternate between requiring epic violence and the proper use of key items.

1UP was also curious about other aspects of the game besides horses, dungeons, and violence, so they took a chance and chatted with lead designer Haydn Dalton about all of the "stuff" in Darksiders, the team's ambition, and the day-to-day involvement with the game's development by comic book artist Joe Madureira (Uncanny X-men, The Ultimates).

The story is too old to be commented.
