GameSpy's Game of the Year 2008 - State of the PSP: 2008

GameSpy writes: "If any system suffered from "hot and cold" this year, it was the PSP. Although Japan is enjoying a renaissance of handheld action thanks to games such as Monster Hunter 3G, PSP started off with a bang and closed the year with a subdued list of sequels. That bang came from games such as Patapon, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and God of War: Chains of Olympus. These games occupied our UMD drives for most of the year, since the pickings slimmed as 2008 progressed." (PSP)
