Game Chronicles Review: Blitz: The Leauge II

GC writes: "What do you get when you take American football and throw out all the rules? Blitz The League II of course, the hardest hitting, most Arcade sports (and I use that term loosely) game on the planet. This is the sequel to the very popular original Blitz The League, which was released in 2005 for the Xbox and PlaySstation 2 and later re-released for the Xbox 360 and PSP in 2006. This year's Blitz offers a bunch of new and fun features while keeping the original gameplay mechanics intact.

The story creatively starts you out as a highly touted new player coming into the league. The commissioner wants you to join L.A. but you refuse and tell him that you will only play for your home team. This is where you decide what city you will play for, your team's colors, logo, and uniforms. After that you are shot right into a press conference with the media asking who you are and what skills you posses. Each question is aimed at finding out what positions you will play (you can play defense and offense) and how your available skill points will be distributed among speed, agility, passing, tackling and so on." (Blitz: The League II , Xbox 360) 8.3/10
