David Sirlin, lead designer on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, hopes that Capcom will patch its recently released downloadable fighting game, but revealed that cost may prevent such a move.
so xbox gets achivements? where's the trophies for ps3? good thing I didnt buy it when it first was released. And now its buggy...hmmmmmm. No thanx capcom Ill keep my money thank u very much.
Why would that surprise you? No trophies for PS3 does suck though.
Bonus stages please...? :(
I own the game on both consoles. It's clear that the 360 version is the more polished build. However, right now I play the PS3 version more because I haven't got an arcade stick for my 360 yet. I network code for the PS3 is almost broken. I can't tell you how many times I've been dropped where there are little to no issues with my 360. Lag free games are almost impossible to find on PS3. I'm not sure why they didn't do an open beta on the system as well.
The Xbox 360 version works fine on all fronts. I heard the PS3 version was glitchy and stuff from some of my friends. I guess that beta for the 360 back in the summer was greatly benefited from.
funny... i cant play SF2 with a 360 controller and im damn sure not gonna pay for a controller with a design more suitable for the moves... And im not paying for some half assed effort on the PS3 from capcom... If this was out in EU I would of bought it day one... Now I know the truth I can avoid this mess and play SF2 Turbo instead SCEE being a bunch of punk b!tches saved me money... still hate SCEE with a passion though
I have seen issues from both versions. Music cutting out on the Xbox360 as well as a Glitch that the messes with the round count and lifebars (not sure if this is common on the Ps3 as well). The PS3 does have the connection issue with noticable lag. (Scower Youtube videos and you shall see examples of all glitches) Why they didn't do a beta test for the PS3, I'll never know. The two consoles are two different beasts. It was illogical to assume that they would handle online the same way. Capcom did mention that trophies may not be possible due to involvment with other projects has taken up resourses from the teams responsable. So if a patch to fix gameplay issues can't go through, I doupt trophies will. They may release a patch in the future, but I fear it may only be for one console.
It's crazy how they make trophies out to be such a hard thing to do. It's not like they can't take the 360 acheivements and assign a trophy to them.
