New screenshots of the game Heavy Rain for the PlayStation 3 has been released by Quantic Dream. You can view the screens through the link, with thanks to 1up.
This is why i love the ps3, because of what it can do. the technology inside of the ps3 is awesome and this game shows it and killzone 2 also shows it. no other console is even close to the ps3 in terms of hardware technology and features, ps3 is the future and the future is ps3. xbl/psn- dylantalon can we all start a petition to have only one zone on n4g, because i think segregation is not a good thing, lets all live as one cause we are all equal, even if you dont believe or share the same opinions of others. ps. the talon stands for talented
Did you f*cking see this? http://www.evilgamerz.com/s... Oh my god.
Wow the graphics are awesome.
Another "best looking game ever" on PS3.
Check alt source ;)
THANK YOU! + Bubble.
Yeah thats what i think when i think about the 360's games but in my defence there grahpics can't touch this.
Outside of Crysis and Warhead being better graphically, there may be one PC game upcoming (Rage) that looks on par with this game. Completely ridiculous what Sony has been doing lately with KZ2, this game, and possibly God of War 3.
holy sh!t that is insaaaane this game is absolutely gorgeous its the best looking game i've ever seen...now that might change with god of war 3 but daaaaayum i literally thought the last picture of the guy was a real person no lie haha
OMG!!! That man and the details on the face! NO WAY!!! Uncanny Valley my behind!
Looking very impressive =)
i was looking at the pics thinking that it was pretty good above average graphics then i looked at the last pic. with the guy they made HOLY CRAP that character model looks good if that is ingame for characters it will be awesome.
the game will be good looking. But i cant help to have the feeling that this is a potential flop candidate, seeing how controversial the game play is. I think Killzone wont flop, but this one could get hazed.
If you go by gameplay, this game is going to be amazing. However, like you mentioned, the controversial nature of it will off-put a lot of people from buying it. Sales will be what makes this game a flop, if anything. Indigo Prophecy was amazing and I don't doubt this will move me in the same way.
Looks like crap seriously. Not even in the same ballpark as KZ2 for ps3.
Now I am even more impressed. Can't wait for this title. I love the idea of a game based on real decisions and not just twitch shooting without remorse. Looks like it will be a great addition to the current generation of games.
Is that what yellow people think white people look like/
..but prerendered set pieces,do not qualify as "screen shots". :o
yeah tell me me about it although it was a good technique a few years,it's lucky heavy rain is all real time. see http://www.1up.com/media?id...
..WTF is that pic supposed to prove? It's just another prerender.
Yep and when they were first showing off KZ2 it was CGI. I shouldn't have to tell you how that is turning out lol.
Almost positive it is ingame, not CGI. And I'm pretty sure most backdrops are pre-rendered in any game. The point is, this is what the game is going to look like when we play it. This Gears of War 2 image is a set piece, do you not consider it to be a screenshot?
just read the one up preview the screens came from
Some excerpts from the 1up preview: "Since nothing shatters the illusion of exploration like a flat, 2D object that you can't interact with, QD demanded that every single element in the game world must be rendered in full 3D." "We were shown several realtime environments that looked breathtakingly real, including a rain-soaked crime scene at the side of the highway, a stylish Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired abode packed with whimsical furniture, a cozy, cluttered apartment belonging to a young lady, a musty antique shop stuffed with ornate clocks, and a dusty, sunbeam-filled train station." Realtime, 'nuff said...
Where did your bubbles go? Oh thats right you where a **** and got them took of you like a child
